Q.How do I use the Home Renovation Centre?
A. You can search for products in 3 ways:
- By Category: Firstly, click on the “Shop” icon on the home page, then choose a category that is closest to your current employment support need to see the related products and services.
- By Supplier: Firstly, click on the “Shop” icon on the home page, then click the Shop by Supplier icon. You can then choose a supplier and browse the products and services that they offer.
- By Keyword Search: Use the “Search” box at the top of any page. Type in what you are looking for and click the Search button. You will then see all of the products which match your search. e.g. searching for CV will display all products relating to this topic such as CV Writing Skills.
Once you have found what you are looking for and are ready to buy your products you will need use the Choose and Buy options on the right hand side of the product pages to add the items to your shopping basket.
When you are ready to complete your purchase, click on the Place My Order button. At this stage, If you have previously registered with the Home Renovation Centre, you just need to log into your account with your email address and password and follow the onscreen steps to complete your order.
If this is the first time that you have bought something from the Home Renovation Centre, you will automatically complete the user registration as part of your purchase process.
Q. How do I register on the site?
A. Simply click on the “Register” icon. The registration form will open in a new window and then fill in your details are requested. There are 3 small sections to complete and then your registration is complete.
Q. What if I want to browse/buy without registering first?
A. That’s fine. Just click on the “Shop” icon to browse the stores. Then just add your chosen products or services to your basket and when you are ready to pay simply click Place My Order and complete the on screen instructions. You will automatically complete the user registration as part of your purchase process.
Q. Why do I have to register to buy?
A. Registering makes using the Home Renovation Centre even easier for you. By registering and creating your personal account, all you need to do to use the site and make a purchase next time you visit is to log into your account using your email address and password.
Our secure system will then store your contact information, delivery and payment details as well as giving you access to your order history any time you want to see it. You can update your details at any point via your account page.
Q. How do I contact a supplier if I want to have a conversation with them before buying online?
A. On every product page there is a “Contact Us” button. If you click this button the suppliers contact details will be displayed. Simply call the number and explain you have seen a product you like on the Home Renovation Centre and they will be happy to help you with any questions you have.
Q. How do I pay for my Products?
A. You will need a PayPal account to pay for products and services purchased through the Home Renovation Centre. As part of the Registration process your will add your details into our secure payments system. Please be assured that your details will be secure and no money will be debited until you are ready to make your first purchase. With PayPal you can still use your debit or credit card or bank account that is verified as attached to your PayPal account
Q. How do I know my order has been placed?
A. When an order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation message on screen. You will also be sent an email confirming the details of your order.
Q. What do I do if I have a problem with my order?
A. If there are any problems with the order, please contact your supplier quoting your order number. If you are not happy with the response then please contact the Home Renovation Centre Customer Support Team by email on firstname.lastname@example.org we will be happy to help resolve any problems you have.
I’m not happy - how do I get a refund?
A. You should initially contact the supplier directly to discuss re-funds as this is the supplier’s responsibility. If after you have made contact with the supplier you are still not happy with their service, you can contact the Home Renovation Centre Customer Support Team on by using the support ticket system and we will contact the supplier on your behalf and do our best to resolve your issue and keep you updated at all times.
